I love that these Holiday Cards have been such a big hit!
What initially started a few years ago as a way to “cut-my-teeth” in the advertising world (learning what works, what doesn’t, whats efficient, what isn’t, dealing with limited time etc…) has been a lot of fun. Not to mention a great way for me to embrace and engage the holiday season.
Holiday Cards have been more than a way to grow myself in the world of composite photography. It has allowed me the creative freedom with real world restraints. It has been one of the strongest tools in my arsenal to hone in on what works and what doesn’t…
It’s one of those “get your hands dirty” type of learning experiences.
I remember when it would take me weeks-on-end to create one of these images.
The image above was shot, edited and delivered within a few hours. Thats a far cry from days past. Once again, life reminds me that patience and time are what lead to solid grounding and experience.
Fast forward a few years later and I still enjoy the absurdities that these engagements bring along!
